Regional CDL Truck Driver - Home Every Week
SME Logistics LLC, a subsidiary company of SME Industries Inc. is hiring experienced, CDL flatbed truck drivers. We transport fabricated steel from our West Jordan, Utah Plant to sites in Idaho, Nevada, and California then bring back-haul loads back to the Salt Lake Valley. We are looking for drivers that live within or near our delivery route to allow for a favorable family, home, and work-life balance.
What We Offer:
- Starting pay $0.63 CPM (Practical Miles Loaded and Empty)
- At 6 months, earn $0.65 CPM
- At 12 months, earn $0.68 CPM
- Continued, increased earning potential after 1 year.
- Extra Pay - For tarping back haul loads when required by shipper. $50 per tarp per load
- Hourly Pay - $25 for any load less than 100 miles plus mileage pay
- $100 for each violation-free inspection
- Life, medical, dental, vision, and prescription insurance
- 401(k) after 90 days, with company match up to 3%

Requirements:
- Valid Class A CDL
- 1 Year minimum CMV Tractor Trailer Driving experience (Flatbed Preferred)
- No more than 2 moving violations in 12 months
- No speeding 15 MPH or more in 3 years
- No rollovers or abandonment
- Secure freight by hand
- Must pass DOT Physical and Drug Screen
- Ability to make independent judgments that have moderate impacts on the organization
