About us
Barrett Trucking LLC was established in 2019 with its flagship location headquartered in Temple Hills, MD. As of 2022, Barrett Trucking has expanded its business operations to Los Angeles, CA with power stationed on both coasts. Our primary focus is no-touch, dry van cargo and frac sand hauling. This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position.What we offer
- For No Touch Dry Van we offer a percentage of the weekly load revenue. This works out to anywhere from $1400-$200 per week.
- For Frac Sand Hauling we offer a flat weekly rate of $2,000 to start. With potential to earn up to $2,500 per week.
Requirements
- 21+ years of age.
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a good driving record.
- Must be able to operate a manual 10 speed
- Successful completion of DOT screening process, including physical, pre-hire test and drug test.
- Safety-first mindset.
- Hands on experience with digital equipment (smart phone, ELD, GPS) and carrier apps.
- Safely climb in/out of a tractor cab/trailer.
- Sit for extended periods of time.
- Walk and stand for extended periods of time on various surfaces that may be uneven or slippery (including working outdoors in inclement weather).
- Reach (including above your head), bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel.
- Operate a tractor-trailer combination up to 11 consecutive hours, in all types of weather, while safely transporting non-hazardous materials.
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
- Collect and verify delivery instructions.
- Report defects, accidents or violations.
