Local CDL Truck Driver - Refrigerated

Driver must live within 40 miles of Salem, VA
Average Weekly Gross:
  • $1500-$1600+
Description:
  • Delivering grocery freight from DC to stores
  • 24/7 365 day operation
Running Area:
  • VA Beach; Richmond, WV; OH; KY; TN; Salem, VA; Roanoke, VA
Dispatch:
  • Dispatch provided each day between 8-10 pm for next day deliveries
Mileage:
  • 1750-2750 miles per week
Pay Rate:
  • .52 cpm (Mon-Thurs) & .55 cpm (Fri-Sun)
Accessorial Pay:
  • $15 stop pay for first stop; $10 each additional stop
  • $8 Trailer moves
  • $30 detention after first hour
  • $100 day off pay (if worked complete work schedule)
  • $43.50 Backhaul
  • $8 Drop and hook
  • $27 local pay per trip
  • $25 truck shuttles to vendor
  • $25 vendor lot checks
  • $100 layover pay
Orientation:
  • 3 days @ $100 a day
Home Time:
  • Local home daily; 5 days on 2 off for full 48 hours during the week
  • Position covers nights and weekends
Governed Speed:
  • 70
Transmission Type:

Sign on Bonus:
  • $2000

Minimum Requirements:
  • Must have a valid Class A license
  • 12 months in the last 36 months of dry van or reefer Tractor Trailer (48-53ft trailer) experience
  • Some reefer experience preferred
  • Good driving record
  • Good references
