What is a hazmat truck driver?

A HAZMAT truck driver is a driver who has been certified in the transportation of hazardous materials. HAZMAT driver jobs typically employ experienced drivers who have been trained for the correct transportation and handling of dangerous cargo. Drivers who transport hazardous material need to closely monitor their routes for any issues and also be judicious with practicing proper safety at all times.
